Junior forward Jarred Jones is a smart player who can do it all. In addition to having the ability to guard all five positions, Jones can handle the ball, go inside, and shoot beyond the perimeter. He’s averaging 15.2 points and 2.9 steals per game and was named first team in both the MIAA-A Conference and Baltimore Catholic League.
After gaining entry into the prestigious Baltimore Catholic League this year, John Carroll proved they belonged by winning both the league title as well as the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference title at the end of this 2011 season. The Patriots beat top-rated St. Frances for the third and fourth times this season in both title games, with a squad that contains significant talent in the freshmen and sophomore classes. In addition to Jones, John Carroll features two top-notch seniors: Central Connecticut State-commit Malcolm McMillian and Ronald Scott.
