The Rutgers-bound 6-foot-3 guard is one of the best pure shooters to come out of New York City in recent years. Taylor has led Boys & Girls to two consecutive PSAL titles and can hit the mid-range jumper as well as the three beyond the arc. He’s an aggressive player that’s capable of an instant hot streak.
Boys & Girls enter the NHSI 24-6 and are fresh off winning their second consecutive Public Schools Athletic League Class AA title under head coach Ruth Lovelace. Boys & Girls knocked off several nationally ranked teams, including Winter Park (FL) and Academy of the New Church (PA). In addition to Taylor, the Kangaroos rely heavily on 5-foot-4 senior point guard and floor general Antione Slaughter, a competitive and athletic leader who was named MVP of the Class AA championship game.
