Justin Anderson is considered one of the most athletic and aggressive small forwards in the 2012 class, ranked #51 in the ESPNU Super 60. A member of the gold-medal winning USA Basketball Men’s U16 and U17 National Teams, Anderson is a fierce competitor who can score from anywhere on the court.
At #3 in the ESPN RISE FAB50, Montrose Christian comes into the NHSI as the number one seed in the tournament. Though the Mustangs are a young team, that didn’t stop them from playing a challenging schedule and incurring only one loss on the year. Stu Vetter’s squad delivered notable wins over Oak Hill Academy (VA), Findlay Prep (NV), and Arlington Country Day (FL) and are ranked number one in the Washington D.C. area. In addition to Anderson, the team features Villanova-bound senior guard Tyrone Johnson (#71 ESPNU 100), a talented playmaker with terrific size and strength.
